Due to the unfortunate circumstances that people have found themselves in recent times, it has become a common saying in the gaming world that ‘Never Pre-order anything, ever’. However, there might just be some games in 2018 which are just simply too good to pass up on.
Whether it’s the fact that their alphas are a tribute to the classics or their developers are revered by many, there are some games that absolutely deserve to be pre-ordered.
Games that are Safe to Pre-Order in 2018
Today, we will take a look at 10 such games, and you can be assured that the product that is released will be of optimal quality.
Super Smash Bros
The switch has some of the best titles upcoming in the year. Nintendo has always been known to not screw up their famous franchises.
So you can be assured of the fact that Super Smash Bros. will be an amazing game on the Switch too like it has been on every single Nintendo console ever. So get ready to give up your cash and fight your foes from the Nintendo Universe.
The original Destiny was a huge success for Activision Blizzard. The game was massive and has a lot of funding which makes it extremely difficult for other studios to come up with a clone of the game. However, BioWare is ready to pounce on the bandwagon and release a shared world RPG of their own.
Anthem is a game that will be a shooter with massive terrain that can be explored and tons of beasts that can be taken down. You can be assured of one thing, that there will be a ton of content in the game and there is a massive probability that you will be able to find something in the world that interests you.
As we stated before, there are tons and tons of Nintendo franchises that can be adapted for the Switch. Although we have already seen the superb power of the console through games such as Mario and Link, it will be interesting to see how this side-scrolling adventure fares on the new console.
I think we can trust Nintendo enough to easily believe that the game will be a massive hit and you should pre-order it right now.
Spiderman has a lot of appendages that will be perfect for an open world game. Although we have seen a couple of Spiderman games in the past that have tried to utilize the open world, we finally have the graphics power and the processing power in modern consoles to have games which can do the famed superhero justice.
Get ready to use your webs and weave in between buildings and enemies alike as you make yourself a nuisance for all the bad guys that exist in the universe.
The Crew 2
The first Crew game had a mixed response. However, it seems safe to assume through the trailers and the titbits that we have seen of the sequel that the game will be awesome and a lot of fun for all fans of arcade racing.
The Crew 2 will have an open world and a host of cars for you to choose from. Even if you do not end up liking the gameplay, the graphics alone might warrant the pre-order of the game.
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Compilation
Nintendo seems to be the biggest force in the gaming world right now if you are looking for cool titles that are not that competitive. This is not really a game but rather a collection of 12 different titles from the series.
I mean, let’s be honest here, if you do end up buying this collection, chances are that you will be able to find at least 1 title that is of interest to you (although all 12 of them are amazing and will probably be playing a lot on your device).
Tennis World Tour
Pretty much every single tennis fan who also enjoyed playing games will remember the smooth gameplay of the Top Spin series. Well, it’s time to rejoice once again if you are an avid follower of the sport like me because the same developers have come up with a brand-new tennis game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is supposed to be the final entry in the ‘Origin’ trilogy of Lara Croft. The game will put an end to all of the questions that came forth from the first two entries in the series.
The graphics are amazing and fans of the series will almost certainly buy it in order to see how the story actually ends.
Apocalyptic games are by far the most ‘in’ right now. Games like Days Gone and The Last of Us Part II have garnered a lot of public attention and Metro: Exodus is going to be just another one of those post-apocalyptic games that can turn a few heads in its wake.
The bitter cold and the amazing story of Metro: Last Light is surely going to be scary, thrilling and fun to continue on so chances are that you will not regret pre-purchasing this game.
Escape from Tarkov
This title is already in its Alpha stage and has garnered quite a lot of praise from almost everyone who has played it. It is quite similar yet quite different to all of the mainstream survival titles that are in the market right now.
Basically, you enter a place and try to find as much loot as you possibly can before getting to the extraction point. In case you die, you lose all of the loot that you bought in from your previous expeditions.
