Codemasters Reveals F1 2018 Release Date: August 24, 2018

The game development studio Codemasters has revealed the F1 2018 release date, allowing fans of the series to know when they can get behind the wheels of Formula One cars. The game will be releasing on August 24 of this year, so if you’re a fan you only have a few more months to wait.

Formula One is one of the most well-known racing sports in the world, and is basically the European version of America’s NASCAR racing, though it still has a global audience. Formula One tracks are some of the fastest in the world due to the aerodynamics of their cars

F1 2018 will be the most recent entry in the franchise, after F1 2017 came out back in August of 2017, so at least the pattern is still holding steady in the game’s release date. While Codemasters has yet to publish any actual gameplay of the game (though they might do so at E3), the gameplay will likely be similar to that of previous F1 racing games.

The F1 2018 release date is similar to the release date of many other sports games franchises that have yearly releases, adjusting their gameplay and graphics to the latest standards and the newest information, along with adding in the newest cars. For instance, F1 2018 will probably have British F1 racing driver Lewis Hamilton as one of the best racers in the game, considering that he’s the current champion of the entire sport.

While it’s definitely not the same kind of racing game as other big car-focused games like Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport or Gran Turismo, F1 racing is still a very big deal across the entire world, so the games can probably find a similar amount of success there as FIFA has.

Once again, the F1 2018 release date will be on August 24 of this year, and the game will be coming out on the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
