Destiny 2 Warmind Prismatic Matrix Guide – How To Use

The Prismatic Matrix is an amazing addition to the game as it allows you to get items that would otherwise be really hard to get. It does take you a little bit of time to get a hang of the system, and this Destiny 2 Warmind Prismatic Matrix Guide will help you.

Our Destiny 2 Warmind Prismatic Matrix Guide will tell you all about the Prismatic Matrix system. Everything from how it works to how you can make the most out of it will be mentioned.

Destiny 2 Warmind Prismatic Matrix

Every week, there will be ten Eververse items that will be a part of the Prismatic Matrix. These items will be universal and each player will have the same items in the matrix. If a player manages to get to the level cap of 30, he or she will receive a Prismatic Facet.

Let’s go ahead and see how to make the most out of your Prismatic Facet and how to get the most out of the Prismatic Matrix System in Destiny 2.

How to Use Prismatic Matrix

As we have mentioned before, if you manage to hit the new level cap of 30 and level up to a well-rested state, you will be given a Prismatic Facet. This is great as you can use a Prismatic Facet to get one of the items from the Prismatic Facet at random.

Do not worry about receiving duplicates though, as any items that were in your inventory before the Prismatic Matrix will be disqualified from the random draw that will occur when you cash in a Prismatic Facet.

In case you already own all 10 of the items that are available to you in the Prismatic Matrix, you will simply not be able to cash in your Facets. You can stack Facets and hold up to x3 of them at any one time.

You can get more facets by waiting for the week to reset or by purchasing one for 200 Silver. Beware of the limit that exists though, as any facet you get after you have already stored x3 of them in your inventory will be wasted.

If you already have some of the items in the Matrix and all of the ones that are not owned by you yet are not good enough for you, then it is best to simply hold on to the Prismatic Facets and wait for the right opportunity rather than to waste them for an item that you will probably not be able to find any use for.
