Elder Scrolls 6 Tease Mentioned By Canadian Toy Manufacturer

A Canadian toy manufacturer by the name of Les Jouex Franckid’s has apparently placed an Elder Scrolls 6 tease in a PowerPoint presentation as part of products that are coming up in development. Exactly what these toys might involve, or what the company knows about a new Elder Scrolls game, remains to be seen.

The Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the most particularly sought-after games currently, even as Bethesda keeps re-releasing ports of Skyrim to every new console that comes out (as E3 2017 infamously showed.) Considering that The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim were divided in release by around five years, the fact that six going on seven years have passed since Skyrim was released has some people concerned.

While that’s somewhat understandable considering that The Elder Scrolls Online is still going strong as a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (which will soon release a new expansion, taking players to the Summerset Isles), blame could also be put on Bethesda wanting to constantly put out more Skyrim.

Todd Howard, Bethesda’s head, has been very obtuse recently with anything resembling an Elder Scrolls 6 tease, even to his own son when he was bugged at school by kids who were curious about the next Elder Scrolls game.

The PowerPoint of Franckid’s has already proven itself inaccurate, however. The PowerPoint estimated an April release, but we’re already in May with no news of anything resembling a new Elder Scrolls game, not even hints about what we might be seeing at E3.

If we do see a reveal of The Elder Scrolls 6 at E3 it will definitely be something to celebrate, but there’s always the possibility that Todd Howard will remain obtuse about any sort of Elder Scrolls 6 tease and make the Bethesda E3 conference not mention anything Elder Scrolls related at all. We’ll just have to see.
