Microsoft Looking To Add More Subscription Options To Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is a subscription-based service from Microsoft that allows players to play games for a monthly fee, however, the service has only two options for subscription and according to Phil Spencer, Microsoft might also add more subscription options for Xbox Game Pass.

One Twitter user asked Spencer if Microsoft if there will be 6-month or a yearly subscription option for Xbox Game Pass as currently, it has only two subscription options.

According to the Phil Spencer, they are currently looking to add more subscription options to Xbox Game Pass and are working to give their users more value for their money.

We are looking at options. We did the retail subscription and we’ll be working to give users more value and options with our subs.

Speaking of the Xbox One, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will be rolling out on September 14 for the Xbox One X along with PS4 and PC and according to the devs, Shadow Of the Tomb Raider will be 4K/60 FPS On Xbox One X.

Eidos Montreal boss David Anfossi confirmed that Shadow Of the Tomb Raider is being optimized to run at 4K/60 FPS on Xbox One X. However, he didn’t reveal much that whether or not the game will be using dynamic resolution scaler or will be native 4K on Xbox One X.

But, given that the console is capable of running games at native 4K we wouldn’t be surprised if Shadow Of The Tomb Raider does too.

Also, it seems like Microsoft might be working on the next Xbox as a job listing has emerged suggesting that Microsoft is working on the next Xbox that might feature a new type of DRAM and GDDR6 as the main memory.

Do you think it will be a good idea for Microsoft to add more subscription options for Xbox Game Pass? Let us know in the comments.
