Madden Director Departs From EA, A New Direction For The Franchise Perhaps?

There have been various rumors regarding the creative directors of Madden NFL series leaving EA. Turns out they were pretty true. Recently the Madden Director Rex Dickson has announced on his Twitter account that he has left EA, adding to that he has also teased a little regarding the franchise.

Dickson made a statement, on his Twitter account, saying that the decision, he has made, is a private one and that there is no drama behind it.

Well perhaps, the fans will be the judge of that. Has there ever been any departure without any story?

Furthermore, he added that this decision which he made was after a thorough discussion, with other leaders on the team.

He said,”This is as much for me and my family as it is about giving the team, the community and the Madden franchise a chance for a new direction.”

This reference to a new direction has spurred a lot of speculations on what it means? Most of the fans are perceiving this as a tease that there is a new direction to the franchise.

He also said that, when it comes to his overall time spent in EA, which expands almost over a decade; he has “nothing but gratitude” for the company.

Dickson has worked on the Madden NFL 19, Madden NFL 18 as well as Medal of Honor. That said, it is not clear, on who shall succeed Dickson. Of that, we shall know soon enough and perhaps the new direction which Dickson teased could be related to the person succeeding him.

Only time will tell, since we are talking about Madden, you will certainly find this interesting. Recently Industry insider Marcus Sellars went on Twitter saying that we will be seeing Madden and FIFA 19 on Switch this year. Of which we wait to hear about officially.
