The Steam demo which came out recently has also been pulled back and those who downloaded the demo have found their licenses to be revoked.
”Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm regarding the Disgaea 5 Complete release on PC.
As beta testing has been ongoing, we have been fixing bugs and issues as they were discovered. While working on corrections last night, we came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve. Unfortunately, until this issue can be resolved, the release date will be postponed, and we are now targeting a release for Summer 2018. We offer our sincerest apologies to all who have been looking forward to this release of the game.”
Furthermore, they have mentioned that they have disabled all the demo keys that were distributed and once the game is completed, new keys will be required to play the demo.
The team says they are working on resolving the issue and apologized to those who have pre-purchased the game and will be posting updates as the issue gets resolved.
The game can be reinstalled once the issues or bugs it’s facing gets resolved. The team is also offering refund option for those people who are affected by the change in release date.
