Black Ops 4 is reportedly the first COD game to drop its traditional single player mode. It is a rumor at this point but a couple of highly credible sources have claimed it to be true. Now, to add to the rumor pot, sources (who choose to remain anonymous) claim that Black Ops 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch. However, the game won’t feature a single story mode (if it has one) nor it will come with its multiplayer portion.
At this point you may be wondering, “what does it come with then?” Well, it only features the rumored battle royale mode. Even before the announcement of Black Ops 4, there were rumors that this year’s Call of Duty is going to feature a battle royale mode.
The battle royale mode won’t be featuring 100-player matches. It will be very similar to the battle royale mode tested in China. It features slightly biggers maps, players will be able to choose where they wish to spawn, you pick up weapons when you spawn and also find attachments and perks on the map.
Players can also find additional health packs and the map will shrink to force players into the safe zone just like our traditional PUBG and Fortnite gameplay design.
This isn’t the first time we are hearing of such a thing. A report published last week made similar claims but still, nothing can be said for certain until the game’s official announcement.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be revealed next month for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Fate of a Nintendo Switch version is still uncertain.
