Sony is encouraging more people to buy PlayStation Plus memberships by offering a free Netflix membership.
Sony has decided to bring more people to buy PlayStation Plus subscription by giving away 3 months of Netflix membership. The offer is limited and currently available via an email message which is required when registering the PlayStation Network account.
“User must have received an email from the Promoter informing them of the promotion (the “Promotion Email”). Note: only users selected by the Promoter and who have opted in to receive promotional/marketing communications from the Promoter will be eligible),”
The offer is limited and applies only to some users of PlayStation Network. Sony from April 23m sent emails to selected people with links to buy a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription. After entering the store and buying a yearly subscription, you will be entitled to a 3-month free Netflix subscription.
Instructions are as follows
- Open up the link to the promotional email
- Log into your SEN account
- Add PS Plus membership in the basket in the qualifying store
- Carry out the purchase transaction of your product
The promotion will last until May. The countries which can avail this promotion are: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, India, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Luxembourg, Malta, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, South Africa , Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy, United Kingdom.
Sony recently revealed their financials for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018. In which the company has revealed that it has sold 76.1 million PS4 since its launch and has shipped 19 million units in the fiscal year. It is just smart business to bring new PS4 owners into the fold with PS Plus and a free Netflix.
