The latest Nintendo Financial Report has shown that SNES Classic sales have surpassed a 5.28 million mark.
Nintendo is very proud and overwhelmed by this achievement and why shouldn’t they be? The company is going great all around as its other console, Nintendo Switch, has also recently reached a 17.79 million mark in terms of sale.
Back in January, the SNES Classic sales passed the 4 million mark which means that in just three months this console has managed to sell over 1 million units.
This SNES Classic console released last September and was pretty much successful. The previous version of NES Classic was plagued by a shortage. Although this replicated 16-bit console has not undergone its predecessor’s scarcity and was prevalent in its availability.
Now coming back to Nintendo’s recent updates on its sales, Switch, 3DS and SNES Classic were not the only things that have done well, in terms of sales.
Nintendo also revealed the successful sales of its games as well. Apparently, 68.97 million games have been sold on Nintendo Switch.
With Super Mario Odyssey topping the chart with over 10.41 million sales, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe taking the second spot with 9.22 million sales.
Following that, we have Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild on the third with about 8.49 million sales. Then Splatoon 2 followed by 1- 1- 2 Switch, ARMS, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and on number 8 we have Kirby: Star Allies.
Upon viewing the Nintendo Financial Report, what we can contemplate is that Nintendo has had a nice trip with its products, be them consoles or video games.
Furthermore, how Nintendo has managed to keep their things connected and desirable is one of the reasons why this is so.
Since the competition for Nintendo’s various products only seems to increase, we will have to see how the company handles the take on market. All the while keeping the fans satisfied.
