Destiny 2’s next expansion Warmind is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in two weeks and Bungie is planning on revealing its content in a Twitch live stream tomorrow. To advertise both the reveal live stream and the expansion itself, the company has released Destiny 2: Warmind teaser trailer, showing just the bare minimum.
The Destiny 2: Warmind teaser trailer itself, shows the three main features of the expansion: Mars Hellas Basin, a new location for Guardians to explore, the Hive Escalation Protocol which looks like a new type of wave battle against Hive enemies and updates to Crucible as well as upgraded exotics.
Interestingly, we can take a glimpse of a – possible – new Warmind themed armor around the 15-second mark, baring the same triangle metal patterns that remind us of the Warmind itself.
We shall all be able to find more about Destiny 2: Warmind in Bungie’s dedicated live stream, taking place tomorrow at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on Twitch. This time, Bungie will reveal the game in one live stream other than 3 that were scheduled for Curse of the Osiris. The third one of those was actually canceled due to community uproar so we hope things will stay stable now and history won’t repeat itself.
The new expansion arrives as soon as Season 3 of Destiny 2 commences and the Bungie’s roadmap starts rolling. Details regarding the upcoming Destiny 2 Update were revealed and changes like in the PvE difficulty tuning have been revealed. Although Bungie has not given any details on how this will work with the recent PvE damage changes. Hopefully, we will be hearing more on this very soon.
Destiny 2 Warmind expansion releases on May 8th along with the start of season 3. Make sure to check Bungie’s dedicated stream on April 24th to find out more about its content.
