New Injustice Miniseries Pits He-Man Against Superman

There is a new miniseries in the works for the Injustice franchise that will collide two different universes with each other this summer. The special run will have He-Man, defender of Eternia and the secrets of Castle Grayskull, agree to forge an alliance with Batman in order to take down the tyrannical reign of Superman.

“Injustice vs. He-Man and the Master of the Universe” will feature six issues from writer Tim Seeley (Nightwing) and illustrator Freddie E. Williams II (He-Man/Thundercats) in the coming months.

He-Man will not be alone in this new fight for balance and be joined by some of his most closest allies. This includes the mighty Battle Cat, Teela and Orko. There might be others as well such as Man-at-Arms. Be prepared to see them all make their debut in the Injustice franchise this year.

Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!

For those unaware, He-Man has been said to be the most powerful man in the universe, at least in his universe. Hence, what happens when he matches his superhuman strength against the likes of Superman, another character from a different universe that has also been portrayed to be incredibly strong?

The first issue is scheduled to arrive in stores on July 18. The question shall be answered then.
