Destiny 2 Warmind. Destiny 2 Update

What Destiny 2 fans were waiting for for quite some time now has finally arrived. The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion has gotten its release date and it’s set to launch on May 8th. Are you excited yet?

The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion is the second installment of the base game and is a part of Destiny 2’s roadmap until season 4. As revealed Warmind will be available alongside the start of season 3.

Bungie has already promised that the Destiny 2 Warmind expansion “will send you to new places to meet new heroes and battle new enemies. You’ll earn new loot and master new activities.” and you will find out more during their stream showing it off on April 24th. The developers teased the expansion though by showing what the Warmind looks like with a beautiful image.

Furthermore, here’s what Bungie has in store for season 3 of Destiny 2, including changes to the Crucible, with the biggest one being all Crucible maps getting free for all players:

“For every player of Destiny 2, we’ll be releasing all of the new Crucible Maps being developed for Warmind into matchmaking. The same goes for the maps we released with Curse of Osiris. To keep the community in the Crucible unified, everyone will see new arenas in matchmade playlists like Quickplay, Competitive, Trials of the Nine, Iron Banner, as well as the new weekly rotators that include Rumble and Mayhem. That means more opponents for everyone. With the arrival of Private Matches, players will need to purchase each Expansion to have exclusive access to play those Crucible maps with other players in a private match.”

Destiny 2 Warmind expansion releases on May 8th along with the start of season 2. Make sure to check Bungie’s dedicated stream on April 24th to find out more about its content.

According to Activision, Destiny 2 is “the largest PC launch in Activision history based on units” and the game’s first expansion “Curse of Osiris” had a higher attach rate compared to the original Destiny’s first expansion.
