Yakuza 6 Clan Creator Guide

Our Yakuza 6 Clan Creator Guide below is regarding the online feature of the game.

The mini-game allows you to battle against other clans in Kamurocho. We have provided an overview of the feature along with some Clan Codes so that you are able to recruit some of the best members for your in-game clan.

Yakuza 6 Clan Creator

Clan Creator is a mini-game that unlocks after during Chapter #5 in the game.

You are prompted to form a gang that initially will have few members, but will surely go up as you progress through the game. You can take down JUSTIS, Amon’s Clan, and other story-related organizations with your clan aside from battling against other online players in a PVP space.

Later in the game, you will be able to unlock the Black Market Merchant in Hana-no-kubo who will accommodate your clan somewhat.

Mechanics and Gameplay

The whole affair is that of Unit Deployment and destroying, kind of like XCOM 2. Starting off with a fixed number of units, you will gain points for members defeated per second.

The Deployment Points (DP Gauge) will deplete upon deployment of each soldier and even more for leaders. However, each soldier/leader defeated will add to your DP Gauge as well.

The game ends when all the members of a team are eliminated in the given time period.

The leaders of the clan come with their own specific unique skills e.g. Daigo Dojima’s skill will help you clear a large number of clan warriors in a short period of time and so will help you gain a lot of DP.

Skills can be used again after a specific cooldown time. Whenever a leader is defeated, they will go into a temporary phase of healing, after which you can re-deploy them. Leaders, unlike other normal ground soldiers, are free to be commanded and positioned desirably.

Accompanying these leaders will be soldiers like Grenadiers, Gunners, etc. Each leader has his/her own set number of soldiers they can lead into battle. Soldiers are basically there to put pressure on the opposing team. Your main goal is to protect your leaders and eliminate the opposing leaders.

Soldiers come in four distinct categories. The Brawlers are balanced in their HP and ability to deal damage. Gunners have the ability to take out enemies from long range, but lack when it comes to HP.

Heavies are units with increased HP, but they lack in movement and attack speed. The Rushers move around the battlefield quickly but can be easily taken out due to their low HP. Grenadiers also carry low HP but make up for that in the form of high damage output via grenades.

Organization

There is a tree or hierarchy chart where you can assign specific subordinate members under leaders. The strength of the captain is dependent on the stats of the leaders.

The strength of the leaders is dependent on the stats of the subordinates under them. The strength of the clan, therefore, is dependent on the stats of the captain. In this chart, you can also swap any leaders and view their unique skills as well.

You can expand your organization as you defeat more of the leaders in Onomichi so you can acquire them thereafter. Moreover, certain Story Missions will also help you recruit more members for your gang. As you expand, more positions like Chief Avisor and Chief of HQ open up.

This lets you have a better structure and therefore a better result in the battles to come.

Clan Wars and Consequences

Only the leaders that engage in battle will earn EXP and therefore level up. The ones that do not will only be receiving base EXP.

Experienced gain in battle is dependent on the number of enemies defeated. We recommend having a team with equal leaders boosting offensive skills and defensive skills.

This will allow you to have a natural balance so you can achieve success in battle. The skills require an awareness of position and timing, so be wise and vigilant when executing them.

Finishing each Clan Battle in Story Mode, lasting about 2-3 minutes each, you will be able to recruit more leaders.

You can recruit up to 5 leaders after each successful attempt at the Clan Battles. You can expect around 32 Clan Battles throughout the Story Mode in Yakuza 6.
