Rumors of Microsoft’s Exclusive Marketing Rights to Several Games Bite The Dust
“The fake E3 rumors season has started early this year” is what the executive editor at IGN, Ryan McCaffrey had to say about that recent Microsoft‘s exclusive marketing rights rumors for several games including Cyberpunk 2077.
Very recently we heard some rumors about Microsoft getting its hands on those exclusive rights for some major upcoming third-party games; which includes Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 5, Anthem, Splinter Cell, Borderlands 3, Division 2 and such. Although this certainly was huge news, apparently the rumors regarding it have bit the dust.
To be honest it did seem too good to be true. Ryan McCaffrey recently made a Tweet regarding such rumors that these reports are fake and he did not hesitate in dispelling the possibility of such rumors coming true.
Furthermore, the reason he had to make a Tweet was that a number of people had been asking him regarding these rumors.
Re: a thing some people have tweeted me about with regard to an Xbox "leak," I'll say this:

We do not have any official news regarding this so this too could bite the dust so all we have to go on is his Tweet.
Since we are talking about these anticipated games, we certainly can’t move on without sparing a few lines about Cyberpunk 2077. The game is considered to be the next the Witcher 3. The success of The Witcher 3 has placed high hopes on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.
So with all the hypes for all of these concerned upcoming games, it only seems natural that rumors were bound to take their shape.
With all that being said, about the rumors it only seems plausible, that we will find out the hard way, perhaps at E3? What are your thoughts regarding these rumors that keep shifting from one side to another? Do let us know in the comments below.
