Just by the looks of its prologue, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth looks promising.

Players will have to gather resources, build a base, and lead soldiers in an assault against an NPC fortress occupied by the opposing faction. According to PC Gamer, players on the opposing faction must stockpile enough resources like crafting materials, gold, and Azerite in order to unlock their Warfront. This process will be region locked and as soon as players have the required amount of resources they’ll have the opportunity to assault the opposing faction’s bases. We’re glad to see World of Warcraft paying respects to its past by giving the game some RTS elements.
