Gigabyte is one of the leading gaming laptop manufacturers in the industry and now the company has introduced its upgraded line of Gigabyte Aero v8 gaming laptops featuring 144 Hz display, Intel Coffee Lake chip and Pascal architecture based Nvidia GPU.
As for the GPU, the Gigabyte Aero v8 offers choices like Aero 15X features a GTX 1070 with 8 GB VRAM, Aero 15 features a GTX 1060 with 6 GB VRAM and the Aero 14 features a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB VRAM.
As for the RAM, the Gigabyte Aero 15X and Gigabyte Aero 15 feature a choice between 8 and 16 GB DDR 4 2,400 MHz RAM and the Gigabyte Aero 14 features 16 GB of DDR4 2,400 MHz RAM.
While Intel has just announced a slew of Coffee Lake mobile CPUs but Gigabyte Aero v8 only features Core i7-8750H with 6 cores and 8 threads and as a base clock of 2.2 and boost clock of 4.1 GHz.
Aside from the common Intel chip, the following are the features that are common is all Gigabyte Aero v8 gaming laptops.

Speaking of Intel chips, Intel has revealed that it won’t be patching out Spectre and Meltdown exploits in some of its chips. Intel has stopped the microcode production for a total of 10 product families covering more than 200 processor models.
