ASRock has been rumored to be entering into the graphics card market and while there was a teaser some time ago here we have official confirmation regarding the ASRock RX 500 series graphics cards. ASRock has released the whole series with the RX 580 at the high end and the RX 550 at the entry level position.
The RX 580 and 570 feature dual fan cooling which you can check out in the video below. The other cards have a single fan design and the selling point of the RX 560 as well as the RX 550 is the fact that they do not require any additional external power. All you need to do is plug the graphics card in and play your game. You can check out the graphics cards below.
It seems that these cards are aimed at overclockers as ASRock is not being shy about overclocking in their marketing material. The following is mentioned on your website:
Phantom Gaming OC Certified mark represents excellent overclocking capabilities and high-level performance. It’s the beast with undefeatable hardware and practical software for limit pushing overclockers to break world records.
While we have seen these cards get very expensive over the last few months, it will be interesting to see what kind of performance these GPUs have to offer as compared to the stock versions as well as other versions from different AIB partners. Manufacturers have been signing up for the GeForce Partners Program and this might be a good thing for AMD right now.
ASRock RX 500 series graphics cards look interesting, to put it kindly. The design is not up my alley but I am still looking to see what these cards will look like in real life. The clock speeds in different operation modes are available on the manufacturer’s website and you can check them out there.
Let us know what you think about the ASRock RX 500 series graphics cards and whether or not you are interested in buying one of these graphics cards.
