Job Listing Shows Possible Ace Combat Remaster For PS4

Back in 2016, Namco game producer Kazutoki Kono asked fans of Ace Combat about which game would they like to see go through a remake. In fact, voting was done, to know what the fans demand. Turns out the time has come for Ace Combat, a recent job listing suggests an Ace Combat Remaster is in the making.

The job listing has appeared in a Japanese mid-career recruitment site, which seems to suggest that an HD remaster collection of PlayStation 2 Ace Combat game is in the works for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Required Qualifications:

Person with experience on debug control or project management of a PS4 & Xbox One multiplatform title for over 3 months and with a team of over 15 people
Can take a favorable communication and understand the intentions of our clients
Has a stable rate of attendance and absence
Welcomed Qualifications:

Person who had deeply played through all of the following PS2 games: Ace Combat 04, 5, and Zero
*The person can hold discussions on how to play through the games, for example “This certain mission in Ace Combat 04 flows like this, and I played with this method to beat it.”

Back in 2016, when the voting was done, Ace Combat 5 The Unsung War was on the top with 39% of votes followed by Ace Combat 4: Shattered skies with 29% of votes. While Ace Combat 3 got 25% of votes and Ace combat 2 got 2% of votes.
