Cyberpunk 2077 Confirmed for E3 2018 By CD Projekt RED

CD Projekt RED has confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 for E3 2018. The title will not only be coming to E3 2018 but the developer is hinting at a PS5 and the next Xbox version.

Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing sometime in the next two years on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, now we are hearing the more platforms could be involved. According to CD Projekt RED, the title will be a cross-gen effort and is going to be showcased at E3 2018.

But since next-gen platforms aren’t yet announced, CD Projekt RED isn’t able to say much about the machines and can only speculate. CD Projekt RED President Adam Kiciński stated that their game is their technology is advanced and can easily interface with new hardware.

We doubt PlayStation 5 or the next Xbox are going to appear at E3 2018. The most we can expect is an unlikely announcement of the machines, with a reveal set for Fall at the PlayStation Experience. Anyhow, do not expect new hardware until at least 2020.

But now know that Cyberpunk is going to be one of the first games to arrive on PlayStation 5 and the next Xbox. PS5 is currently being cooked at Sony. The hardware is rumored to be much more powerful than the Xbox One X. But that power will be used to push stable frame rates at 1080p rather than 4K resolution. Rumor has it Sony is sticking to 1080p and won’t be going native 4K with PS5.

Apart from CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077, we are expecting God of War, Death Stranding, and others to arrive on PS5.

Do you think PS5 and the next Xbox will be announced at this year’s E3? And what games do you think will release for the platform?
