Thanos Meets John Wick After Killing His Dog – Funny Pages

The “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” will have their hands full when Thanos and his Dark Order come through with their invasion plans in Avengers: Infinity War. Luckily, there is someone in our mists who can make even the Mad Titan sweat rivers.

John Wick (2014) made it crystal clear what the stoic hitman can accomplish when someone decides to brutally murder his beloved dog. If anything, the stories about him killing three people in a bar with just a pencil were watered down at best. The one-man army took down an entire underworld empire in search for vengeance, making an example out of the would-be hoodlums. While he eventually found a new dog replacement later on, the meme-worthy plot just has too much potential to not be used in other settings.

In wait for Avengers: Infinity War to open in theaters next month, a fan-made comic strip humorously centers on a very different plotline that introduces “Baba Yaga” to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thanos, asking about the Soul Stone, is told by Doctor Strange that it is sealed inside an adorable pup. The Mad Titan waits no time in extracting the relic from the animal, killing him in the process. It would feel like the end since Thanos finally has the last Infinity Stone to power his Infinity Gauntlet. The twist is that John Wick appears soon afterwards asking about his dog, making Thanos go “I fucked up” and the Avengers high-fiving each other.

There is no word on who the original artist is for the comic strip but the same idea has been floating on the internet for the past two days.

Avengers: Infinity War will open in theaters on April 27, 2018. The untitled sequel, presently dubbed Avengers 4, is slated to premiere on May 3, 2019.

John Wick 3 began principal photography this month and is slated to open in theaters on May 17, 2019. It will be the last installment in the original trilogy.
