Nintendo Switch Users Can Now Play With Xbox One S Controller Using 8BitDo USB Adapter

One of the most comfortable controllers out there, Xbox One S controller, can now be used on Switch via a small adapter from 8BitDo.

The Xbox One S controller is considered by many as the most comfortable controller to play games. So if you guys own one for either your Xbox or for PC then this here is your chance to use it on your Nintendo Switch as well.

What this 8BitDo USB adapter does is that it tricks the system into thinking that a pro controller is connected to it when in reality you could be using various controllers like the Dualshock 3 or 4 (PS3/PS4 controller), Wii Remote, Wii U pro controller and now Xbox One S Controller.

The method for using the controller is pretty simple, all you have to do is plug the little 8BitDo USB adapter into one of the USB port on the Nintendo Switch dock, pair the controller and you are ready to go.

Very recently a firmware update was released for the adapter which made some improvements to its functionality. One of which is the support added to the Xbox One S Controller.

So if you already own the 8BitDo USB adapter then all you need to do is update it to the firmware v1.13 and you are set.
