Far Cry 5 is just a week away from launch and as the release date for the game is getting closer, Ubiosft has been revealing new details about the game. This time the studio has confirmed that Far Cry 5 Xbox One X version will feature improved frame Rate at 1080p mode.
According to the game’s listing on Bestbuy, the Far Cry 5 Xbox One X version will feature improved frame rate at 1080p resolution. However, this falls in line with the PS4 Pro version as PS4 Pro version of Far Cry 5 features a Render mode.
This is according to a leaked screenshot revealing Far Cry 5 PS4 Pro Render Mode which will allow players to either run the game at a higher resolution or at 1080p with better graphics. The Higher resolution render mode will probably max out the game’s resolution output to 4K for the console.
Now it is unknown what the improved frame rate for both versions will be but we can safely assume that Xbox One X and PS4 Pro version will target 60 FPS at 1080p resolution. Also, it is now known if PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of the game will be able to reach native 4K or not.
While the game has not released yet but according to Ubisoft, the fishing mini-game already became a “fan-favorite”.
According to narrative director Jean-Sebastien Decant, fishing side-activity in Far Cry 5 has already become a “fan-favorite” as gamers have liked it very much when it was showcased during various events.
Also, the game will not feature local co-op and players will only be able to play the game through online co-op. No reason behind this decision was revealed hopefully Ubisoft might include local co-op in future.
Far Cry 5 is a first-person action shooter in development at Ubisoft and is scheduled to launch on March 27, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
