Far Cry 5 Features Microtransactions But They Are Cosmetic Only

The executive producer Dan Hay talking with the GameSpot confirmed that the upcoming game Far Cry 5 will certainly offer microtransactions. With that, he also specifically stressed that the game will considerably be generous in what it offers to the players.

According to Gamespot he said that the company realizes that microtransactions may not be loved by many, but they just want to give the choice to those players who want to speed up the progress of the game by spending money.

Otherwise, they will certainly enjoy the game without having the use of microtransactions as well. Furthermore, he added that there is nothing locked in the game. So the players can certainly go out and explore the world, and the game will surely reward the players for exploration.

For those who are worried that what kind of microtransactions items will be included in the game, will they affect the gameplay? You guys need not worry, the publishers have confirmed that the microtransaction items will be cosmetic only and they will not affect the gameplay.

That said, Far Cry 5’s microtransactions will be available for single-player and co-op as well as head-to-head multiplayer.

Now coming to more interesting details, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game’s full campaign will be playable offline. Although if you want to be able to play in co-op or want to check out the online components, then you would definitely require an internet connection.
