Here’s What The State Of Decay 2 Xbox One X Enhancements Will Be

The State of Decay 2 Xbox One X enhancements are all going to be making the game look better on Microsoft's premium console, according to IGN.

With State of Decay 2 finally coming out on the Xbox One and Xbox One X after years of waiting, IGN has delved into the game in order to see what sort of State of Decay 2 Xbox One X enhancements will be available in the Xbox One X version of the game.

Being a more powerful console with more processing power and higher resolution, State of Decay 2 will naturally look better on the Xbox One X than it does on the original Xbox One. However, the Xbox One X version will also have a number of differences that go beyond graphical.

©he State of Decay 2 Xbox One X enhancements will of course include a higher framerate, more detailed textures, depth of field, shadows, better character models, and making the world feel more vibrant in general. In short, the game will be taking full advantage of the greater power of the Xbox One X to make the game look as good as it can.

Considering the wide-open vistas and huge area of the original State of Decay game, the State of Decay 2 environments will hopefully have the sort of size and range that would allow the game to take full advantage of the Xbox One X’s power, especially considering that the first game came out on the Xbox 360 and an attempt at a Remastered Edition got mixed reviews due to not looking at all improved over the Xbox 360 version and still having a large number of technical issues.

Either way, hopefully the State of Decay 2 Xbox One X enhancements won’t be the only version of the game that improves on what’s already being made. With everything new that will be coming along with the game, we’ll have to see how both versions look when State of Decay 2 releases for the Xbox One and PC on May 22.
