Our Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Hero Power Guide will cover progression system of the game relating to leveling up skills and gear to make your hero a force to be reckoned with. Hence, we have some Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Tips to increase your Hero Power.
Understanding Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Hero Power
Progressing through the game and making it successful depends on how well you upgrade your character. This includes unlocking skills and talents which will provide your hero the upper hand in battles. This also pertains to modifying gear and equipment which suits your playstyle. All of this will determine how well you are able to tackle an objective depending on your level of Heroic Power.
With five characters to choose from, each character has unique talents and gear. Carrying out missions on ‘Veteran’ or ‘Champion’ difficulty will help you earn high XP. But this is restricted to certain levels of Hero Power i.e. 120 for Veteran and 220 for Champion difficulty. So this is where our guide comes in.
Hero Power determines the damage output you’re able to inflict on enemies. Leveling up ‘power attributes’ within each class will lead to an increased overall ‘Hero Power’. You obtain 10 Hero Power for leveling up each level for your hero, plus the average Power of your 5 equipped items.
Max Hero Level being 30 and Max Power 300, the highest achievable Hero Power, therefore, is 600. The most convenient way of doing so is by heading online. Playing on the ‘Recruit’ difficulty, you will be able to obtain gear and acquire talents for your hero quick.
Furthermore, lootboxes will also help obtain some of the more ‘Powerful’ gear in the game. The ‘rarity’ of loot you get is also dependent on your Hero level. ‘White’ lootboxes will give you ‘Power’ items only while ‘Orange’ and ‘Blue’ chests will provide you with traits and talents as well.
Your highest average Item Power i.e. items attained by equipping your best items for each slot also affects the ‘Power’ of items you receive from chests. Additionally, Crafting Weapons and Equipment will lead to a higher ‘Power’ rating as well.
