For the Xbox users, we have good news, the PUBG Update is here and claims to have fixed the issue in the recent update.
The game PUBG recently had an update rolled out, which brought a lot of distress for both Xbox as well as PC users. Most of the players were experiencing a lot of bugs especially game crashes as well as error messages. For that reason the developers Bluehole decided to roll back the update, in order to fix those issues.
So for the Xbox users, the update is out that claims to have fixed those occurring issues. The patch notes have also been made available. For those who have already had the chance to check out that update then you probably know that the servers had been also down for maintenance from 5 PM KST/ 1 AM PDT / 9 AM CET in preparation for the new patch.
According to the patch notes the hotfix contains:
Fixed issue where player revival would continue despite the interruption
Fixed repeating sounds from footsteps or when reloading Kar98k, Revolver, or Shotgun
Fixed issue where (B) and (Y) buttons remained active in gameplay while in the map view
Fixed issue where the parachute cable would not disappear following a landing in the water
Fixed issue where the player could not cut the parachute cable when becoming stuck during landing
Also, some known issues like:
Pressing the (B) button while in the Settings menu will cause the player to exit the plane
It has been quite, sometime now, that we have been experiencing a lot of bugs and issues in the PUBG game and if the developers do not take control of this there will certainly be a lot of heat. Although, the PUBG community has a good reputation when it comes to fixing issues.
Let’s hope they fix the issue in the update for PC, that is scheduled for Tuesday. That said, based on a recent report, it seems like that PUBG may be coming for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
