While everyone continues to wonder about when the second trailer is going to be dropped, Avengers: Infinity War has received a new television spot.
Unfortunately, the thirty-second advertisement features no new footage. It smashes together scenes from the previous trailer from last year, which includes even the soundbites. Hence, there is little to nothing to be excited about.
Marvel Studios did mention on the weekend that the second trailer would be releasing very soon. The latest television spot from earlier today is unlikely fulfilling that promise. Since the week has just begun, it would be only prudent for the company to release the new trailer either later today or in the coming days.
It should also be taken into notice that before the weekend began, there were strong reports to indicate that a brand new trailer made its debut behind closed doors this week during the annual meeting of shareholders for the Walt Disney Company. It should not be long before Marvel Studios makes its move to calm fans worldwide in time for the big premiere next month.
Avengers: Infinity War will open in theaters worldwide on April 27, 2018, and culminate all eighteen installments that have been released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to date. The movie, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, is the first of a two-part series. The untitled sequel, presently dubbed Avengers 4, is slated to premiere on May 3, 2019.
This is right time for you to take a refresher course by watching all of the past movies in the MCU in chronological order, building up to the very moment when Thanos invades our world with his Dark Order.
