The upcoming Shazam! movie has been in full production mode for weeks now and thanks to the power of social media platforms, we are being treated with a glimpse behind the scenes.
Taking to Twitter earlier today, user “Jeremy Lawrence” shared footage that he captured from outside his apartment building this week. The crew was apparently filming certain scenes at the Fort York Visitor Centre in Toronto, Canada. This certain epic moment has actor Zachary Levi, in costume, saving a bus full of people from certain danger.
He also does a victory dance at the end, making it obvious that this was probably his first heroic feat after being bestowed with superpowers. For those unaware, his alter-ego Billy Batson is just a kid. It was already mentioned previously that the Shazam! movie will feature several goofy moments to portray a child in the shoes of a fully grown superhero.

It was recently revealed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be filling in as an executive producer for the project. The wrestler-turned-actor is confirmed to play arch nemesis Black Adam in a future standalone movie. However, there are rumors that he could make an appearance in Shazam! in some minor capacity.
Shazam! is set to be released in theaters on April 5, 2019. The movie is being directed by David F. Sandberg and stars Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Pena, and Ron Cephas Jones as the Wizard.
