Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice launched last year with critical acclaim, however, the game was exclusive to PC and PlayStation 4 and it seems that Ninja Theory will be bringing the game to Xbox One.
The clue comes from Taiwan Game Software Rating Information board, as the board has rated Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for Xbox One and if the listing is true then we might be seeing the game on Microsoft’s console soon.
However, given that this is just a listing, take it with a grain of salt until Ninja Theory officially announces the game for Xbox One.
Not only the game was critically acclaimed but, the game was also a financial success and we might be seeing another Hellblade game as the studio noted before the game’s launch that it hopes Hellblade: Sensua’s Sacrifice to be successful so that they can turn the game into a franchise.
Although the Hellblade team is small, Ninja Theory is around 100 people and we are doing a mix of games including working with publishers. A healthy mix of established IP and new IP is where we want to be. Could Hellblade turn into a franchise? Never say never. I hope it’s a success so that we can at least have that choice to make.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a third-person action game developed by Ninja Theory for PC and PlayStation 4.
