Life Is Strange came out in 2015 and in 2017 we saw the launch of its prequel, Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. However, Life Is Strange sequel is already in the works and Square Enix has noted that Life Is Strange 2 reveal will be coming soon in upcoming months.
Square Enix noted in a press release for the Farewell episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm that the development team at Dontnod will be revealing the next chapter in the franchise in coming months.
But when a door closes, a window opens… or, something like that. We now look forward to the coming months, when Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet’s team at Dontnod returns to present the new story and characters of the next Life is Strange.
While Square Enix didn’t reveal when in the coming months Life Is Strange 2 reveal will happen but, given that E3 is almost three months away we speculate the publisher will be revealing the game at E3 2018.
However, there is a chance that Life is Strange 2 might be revealed at a separate event before E3 2018, as Square Enix plans to reveal Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in early 2018 at a major event.
While the major event is unknown, we suspect that Square Enix might be organizing its own event before E3 2018 to reveal its upcoming titles.
In related news, Life is Strange: Before The Storm saw a different voice actor for Chloe, however, original Chloe voice actress Ashley Burch is voicing Chloe in the Farewell Episode. The bonus episode will feature both Max and Chloe and Max’s voice actress is also returning to voice the character.
Before the Storm has starred Rhianna DeVrie as Chloe, who also gave an incredible vocal performance for Chloe and Burch herself remained attached to the project as the writer.
Life Is Strange is an episodic adventure developed by DontNod Entertainment for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
