Communicating things clearly to fans have not always been Microsoft’s forte and while Phil Spencer has made plenty of changes and has done a lot of damage control it seems that Microsoft is trying to strengthen dialogue with the fanbase, yet again. Inside Xbox is an upcoming web series that will give you information regarding the brand and will increase transparency.
Inside Xbox Is Making A Comeback This Month
Inside Xbox, is not something new. This was first started off in 2012 but people did not pay much attention and hence was quickly taken off the air, so to speak. Now that its 2018, things are different. Microsoft is looking to revive Inside Xbox and it will premier on March 10th 2018. You can watch the first episode on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook.
The first episode will give viewers more information regarding Sea of Thieves but the fund does not stop there. We will be getting more information regarding upcoming Xbox One features, news regarding Game Pass, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds as well as the highly awaited Far Cry 5.
Larry Hryb, Graeme Boyd, Jeff Rubenstein, Alex Hebert, Lydia Ellery will be sitting down with the game developers in order to give us a behind the scenes look at the game and an idea of what players can expect when the game comes out on March 20th, 2018. The online gaming and streaming scene have got a boost ever since 2012 and it will be interested to see the kind of content Inside Xbox will have to offer the fans.
Nintendo Direct has also been getting some traction lately so not could be a good time to relaunch Inside Xbox. Talking about relaunching older things, it seems that players are enjoying backward compatibility a lot. According to Microsoft:
The community has played more than 840 million hours of Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. Compatibility is important to Xbox, to developers and their games, and our community. Preserving the art form of video games is part of our DNA, which is why Xbox One is the only console designed to play the best games of the past, present and future.
That is a pretty big number keeping in mind how old some of these titles are. Goes to show that gaming is not all about graphics.
