If you were getting anxious about Sony’s selection of free games for PlayStation Plus over the past months, it’s time to get excited. The company has just announced that the PS Plus March Free Games lineup includes Bloodborne and Ratched & Clank. Talk about redemption!

If your PlayStation 4 library was getting awfully boring lately then maybe it’s time to spice things up a bit with some cool new titles, courtesy of Sony. As of March 6th, you’ll be able to get for free and download Bloodborne as well as Ratchet and Clank on your console.

From Software’s Lovecraftian Souls-like title, Bloodborne is a console seller since day one, so it’s no secret that all fans are excited to see it available for free. It’s true that if you already own a PlayStation 4 there’s a good chance that you already own Bloodborne too, however, that’s one sweet offer.

On the other hand, Ratchet and Clank is another reason for you to feel nostalgic, jumping right into the gameplay of Insomniac Game’s reimagining of the classic platforming hit. SegmentNext’s review of the game reads:

Ratchet & Clank is a visually arresting remake that does not feel at all like a re-skinned 14 year old game. Its controls are simple enough that kids can play through its colourful world on easy difficulty and its gameplay and weapon variety is robust enough to provide an entertaining gameplay experience for the adults.

In addition, PS Plus March Free Games include titles for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Take a look:

  • Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3)
  • Mighty No. 9 (PS3 and PS4)
  • Claire: Extended Cut (PS Vita and PS4)
  • Bombing Busters (PS Vita and PS4)

Unfortunately, Sony has announced that as of 8th March 2019 all PS Plus Free Games will focus on PlayStation 4 titles only and will no longer provide free copies on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. In case you started to worry, all of your previous redeemed titles will still be available on your consoles, however, you won’t be able to obtain any new ones.

PS Plus on both consoles will be used for online services and exclusive PlayStation Store discounts as it is now, what about its price though? Shouldn’t the service on Sony’s older consoles get a lower price due to this change? We’ll have to wait to see about that one.

Don’t forget to redeem and download Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank on your PlayStation 4, starting March 6th. The hunting begins!
