In this PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Guide, we will teach you everything you need to know about changing the color of blood in the game from red to blue. PUBG allows players to change the color of their crosshair from the in-game ‘Options Menu’ but changing the color of blood may come as a surprise to a majority of playerbase.

However, before we begin, do not that following this PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Guide requires you to do very minute tweaking. While it does not require you to alter the game files in any way (or even deleting them in the case of Miramar continuously appearing), I’m not sure whether changing the blood’s color will get you banned or not.

A word of warning: try this at your own risk. You have been warned!

How To Change The Color Of Blood In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

According to Lauliisti, who initially discovered the method, blue blood is a tad better to see from a distance as opposed to default red blood. Apart from this, injuring players lying in the grass or hiding in the bushes will allow you to see them in a better fashion. Last but not the least, blue blood spills more than the red, allowing you enhanced visibility.

Now the question that arises is how can you do it? Luckily, the entire process is fairly simple and does not require a whole lot of effort.

To do so, you need to right-click on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in your Steam Library. After that, you need to click on ‘Properties’ and then click ‘Set Launch Options’. Clicking it should allow you to see a dialogue box pop up. What you need to do is to type ‘-koreanrating’ without apostrophes.

This is pretty much all that you are required to do in order to turn in-game color from red to blue. Simply fire up the game, shoot someone (if you ever get the chance or shoot your squadmates if you cannot find anyone), and see the blue blood spilling. Also, do note that you cannot change the color to any other color than blue.

This is all we have in our PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Guide. If there is anything else that you would like to add, let us know in the comments section below!
