On its opening day, Overwatch saw over 400,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, that pretty much says it all. While the fan base is increasing everyday players get restless to find out who is going to be the next hero. A series of teasers have been made by the Overwatch community and the latest Japanese Overwatch’s Tease has pretty much locked Brigitte to be the next hero.
This tease basically took shape when a post was made that detailed an “After Action Report for Operation White Dome”. Many of the fans instantly started speculating about the possible new hero. At that time based on that limited information most of the fans were settled on “Emre Sarioglu” to be the next hero.
Although this bit the dust as following that Tweet another tease surfaced that pointed out towards Torbjorn’s daughter. A letter was posted which confirmed that Reinhardt had saved Torbjörn’s life before he goes on to talk about the unborn daughter.
With that many fans were in confusion about who is going to be the next hero until very recently the official account of Overwatch Japan posted the file name of the teaser image rather than the image itself and it pretty much locks Brigitte to be the next hero.
Unless they have been miss leading with the teases or now go in a totally different direction this is pretty much it. The latest Overwatch’s Tease reads “Brigitte Tease #3_Monday”.
A new hero is coming so expect a full reveal soon.
