Final Fantasy 15 is just a few days away from launch and Square Enix has rolled out a Final Fantasy 15 Demo for the PC version so that the PC gamers can get an idea how the game will play on their systems.
The Final Fantasy 15 Demo will require somewhere around 21 GB of HDD space and the reason why the demo requires so much space is that of the 4K textures are included in it. The demo will feature the game’s first chapter but, there will be no sidequests included. The Demo is available on Steam.
As the game will soon be out for PC and Square Enix expects the game to sell 2 million units on PC to reach the 10 million sales mark. According to game director, Hajime Tabata, the game has currently sold 7 million units.
Furthermore, according to the game director, Final Fantasy XV on PC is a generation ahead of the consoles version.
The reason why the PC version of Final Fantasy 15 will be way ahead of the console versions is that the PC version was developed from the ground up and that is why the PC version of the game has advanced a generation over the console versions.
Furthermore, the game requires Over 155 GB HDD Space on PC and the reason why the install size is so big is the inclusion of 4K textures. However, if you don’t want to use the 4K textures, then you will need over 100 GB of HDD Space to install the game.
Also, the PC version of Final Fantasy XV will not use Denuvo DRM. This would come as a relief who were looking to buy the Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition as generally Denuvo is considered to drop game’s performance significantly.
Final Fantasy 15 is an open-world action adventure game developed by Square Enix for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will launch on March 6, 2018, for PC.
