A new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC called “Infinite History” is going to be coming on February 28, next Tuesday. The DLC will be bringing in new skills, new characters, and a new story arc as the next expansion is released, and players will only be able to get stronger as it goes.

Players will be able to fight Goku in his Ultra Instinct form, the Pride Trooper Jiren from Universe 11, Android 17 in his Dragon Ball Super costume, and a new character to Xenoverse, the mysterious Fu (unless you’ve played Dragon Ball Online, which tells his origins.)

Players in the game will have to fight through a new story arc about a new threat approaching Conton City, which Fu seems to have a role in. Players will also be getting new options for customizing their characters, new characters to take on missions or fight against, and new Parallel Quests to play through as well.

The upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC is sure to be a great deal more engrossing than the game’s previous DLC, which gave players the miniature figurine battle game Hero Colosseum. While It’s a fun diversion, the Hero Colosseum is likely nothing compared to the game’s actual combat.

Anticipation to see various characters like Jiren and other Pride Troopers in Xenoverse 2 has been high ever since they were introduced at the beginning of that arc in Dragon Ball Super, and especially now, when Goku and Jiren are two of the last remaining combatants in the tournament with only minutes (in-show) to go.

Xenoverse 2 had previously had other DLC chapters that took us through various arcs of the Dragon Ball Super story, including the tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7, and the Future Trunks arc fighting Zamasu and Goku Black.

Either way, if you want to match your own character’s strength against Jiren or Goku in his Ultra Instinct form (and you can tear yourself away from FighterZ), then you’d best get back into Xenoverse 2 and get ready to go through the DLC. Once again the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC comes out on February 28. The DLC will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch version.
