Bandai Namco is, undeniably, one of the many publishers that are actively supporting Nintendo Switch and is set to bring some amazing games to the popular hybrid console. While we are waiting for Dark Souls Remastered to come to the Switch, Bandai Namco announces that the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is soon coming to the console too.
The news comes from Nintendo Japan, where a post reveals that Bandai Namco is bringing the first three games of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm to Nintendo Switch, in remastered HD versions, along with their DLC in the upcoming issue of Weekly Jump, which means that for now, it will be available only in Japan. It reads:
Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm Trilogy (Naruto: Ultimate Storm Trilogy) will be coming to Nintendo Switch in the upcoming issue of Weekly Jump (out 26 February) and includes all the previously released DLC. Release date and price are unknown.
The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy includes the first three games of the franchise and is not the previously released “Legacy Pack” which also included Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Apart from the main titles, the DLC for the games will also be available, bringing the whole experience in your hands, just as it did when it was released for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One back in 2008.
What makes us salty is the fact that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will be available only in Japan for now. However, Bandai Namco is always bringing titles to west so we’ll probably have the chance to play it as well. For what it’s worth, this game will make a perfect addition to our fighting game library on Nintendo Switch, at least until a new Super Smash Bros gets released.
In addition to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy, Bandai Namco confirmed that 3 new Nintendo Switch games will be announced between Summer and Spring 2018, one of which is apparently the Dark Souls remaster. What could those titles be?
