Assassin’s Creed: Origins New Game+ Beaten, Here’s What You Get As A Reward
For all those that have already completed Assassin’s Creed: Origins but want to test their strength in a brand new mode, New Game+ is now available for you to try out, bringing a whole new level of challenge to the gameplay. A player has already managed to finish Assassin’s Creed: Origins New Game+ and revealed what its precious reward is.
New Game + (NG+) is an option that allows players to start a new saved game while keeping their current character progression, once they’ve completed the main story of the game. In Assassin’s Creed: Origins you can have countless NG+ after completing the main story for the first time. Reddit user Najoray is the first person to post about completing Assassin’s Creed: Origins New Game+ a day after the mode’s release. It took him a total of 6 hours to complete the game in hard mode, skipping cutscenes but losing some precious time by having to redo some fights.
He also posted screenshots of the reward that is given to you when completing New Game+, which is a fancy outfit to show off your character’s style. Here’s what it looks like:
What dissatisfied players is the fact that the aforementioned reward is just an outfit and is purely cosmetic ans doesn’t help players in upgrading their gear. However, giving your character some more finache is something that is appreciated by most. If you want to try out New Game+ for yourself then you should know that you have to have completed the main story first. Then you can hit the new mode but note that the enemies’ difficulty will be bumped a bit. Take a look below on what’s carried over when moving to New Game+:
Here’s what is carried over:
- Equipment (weapons, shields, tools, outfits, mounts)
- Acquired abilities and available ability points
- Crafting status
- Player level
- Inventory (crafting materials, arrows, tools, animal goods, trinkets)
Elements that are not carried over are:
- Maps and discovered territories
- Location completion
- Quest completion
- Senu’s perception
- Hidden blade will be unequipped (however, the crafting status will carry over once available in the story)
- Quest items
