Battlefield 1 Apocalypse Update Released With New Maps, Weapons, Gameplay Changes
Battlefield 1 Apocalypse DLC is out now and it brings a massive amount of content to the base game. According to Ubisoft, the DLC adds new maps, weapons, brings fixes, improvements, gameplay changes, and much more. The new Battlefield 1 is numbered 1.19 on consoles and PC.
There are five new maps in the DLC, a new Map, and plenty of new weapons inspired by the World War 2 era. First, let’s see what the new maps are:
EW MAP: CAPORETTO
The Austro-Hungarian forces have bombarded the Italian army with toxic gas to gain a foothold in the village along the Isonzo River.
NEW MAP: PASSCHENDAELE
After continuous artillery shelling, all that’s left is muddy terrain, littered with debris and rubble where buildings and trees once stood.
NEW MAP: RIVER SOMME
British troops have dug in with a trench network that cuts through the golden wheat fields, opposing German dugouts carved into the earth just a few hundred meters away.
NEW MAP: RAZOR’S EDGE
Top pilots take to the skies above the towering peaks of the Alps. In freezing conditions and high altitudes, flying aces attempt to outmaneuver other single-seat fighter planes as they engage in deadly dogfights.
NEW MAP: LONDON CALLING
Battle among the clouds, high above the British capital. Aircraft of all types collide in this cataclysmic conflict. Using the superior speed and maneuverability of Fighter planes, tail your enemy and lay down fire to bring down attackers.
The new “Air Assualt” mode places you in the middle of intense dogfights. New vehicles include Airco DH 10 Bomber plane and the Hansa-Brandenburg G.I. bomber.
Battlefield 1 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The DLC in question here is a part of the premium pass. For full patch notes, visit the official website.
