Easter eggs and references are nothing new in video games and this time Kingdom Come Deliverance developer, Warhorse Studios, is the one to hide an easter egg in its game. This easter egg in Kingdom Come Deliverance references CD Projekt Red’s popular Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.
The easter egg in question in Kingdom Come Deliverance can be found by traveling to the stables at Merhojed. Here in the stable, you will find a horse called “Roach” and those who have played The Witcher 3 know that Roach is the name of Geralt’s horse.
Also, this Witcher 3 easter egg in Kingdom Come Deliverance doesn’t end here, if you speak to the stable owner, he will refer to the Geralt and Yenefer’s famous sex scene on top of a Unicorn statue.
Furthermore, the stable owner also states that “Roach” was sold to him by an old Polish fellow, a nod to The Witcher 3’s developer CD Projekt Red which is based in Poland.
The comparisons of Kingdom Come Deliverance to Skyrim and The Witcher 3 were inevitable and it seems that the developer, Warhorse Studios, was aware of it and included a Witcher 3 easter egg in its recently released game.
While the game launched last week with mixed reception but, the game has become the most streamed game on Twitch. Being on top will and has given the game a lot of exposure to the gaming community as the game’s marketing wasn’t very strong and went under the radar of many gamers.
