GTA 5 launched way back in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and then was released on current-gen consoles and PC and now a listing for GTA 5 Premium Edition has popped up on Amazon Germany which suggests that GTA 5 Premium Edition is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
According to the listing, GTA 5 Premium Edition will be available on March 23, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Furthermore, the listing doesn’t reveal any details about the Premium Edition.
However, it might include all the released DLC for GTA Online along with the single-player campaign. Furthermore, it would make sense if the Premium Edition brings the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro support to the game since Rockstar Games ever released a patch for GTA 5 to take advantage of the upgraded consoles.
Also, given that it is just a listing, take it with a grain of salt until Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive officially announces the GTA 5 Premium Edition.
Speaking of GTA V, earlier this year rumor started to pop up that GTA 5 will come to Nintendo Switch along with Red Dead Redemption.
While these rumors haven’t come true but, Take-Two has shown interest in bringing more game to Switch.
In terms of bringing other titles to Switch, obviously we’ve done a few titles already. We’ve done NBA, WWE, L.A. Noire. We look at this like any other platform opportunity to the extent that we look at our development costs, is the game right for the platform, what does the audience look like, what’s the install base? So when we do believe that there’s an opportunity to do something on Switch, then you’ll hear from the labels.
GTA 5 is an open-word action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
