Fans of the Diablo franchise have been waiting for a new Diablo game for a few years and while Blizzard has not indicated towards new entry in the franchise but job listings for the studio suggest that Blizzard Entertainment is indeed working on Diablo 4.

According to the job listings, Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an associate producer who will manage the project, a creative director for the project who will “steer strategic creative decisions at a franchise level”.

While it is not clear if the studio will be working on Diablo 4 or not and traditionally the studio will be taking things slowly as the studio prioritizes quality over rushing the project. Also, there is a chance that the studio might be working on a new expansion for Diablo 3.

However, take it with a grain of salt until Blizzard officially announces the Diablo project if it is in the works. But given that Diablo is a pretty big franchise for the studio, we are sure that Blizzard will be rolling out a new entry in near future.

While Blizzard has not revealed if it is working on a new Diablo game but according to Goldman Sachs, Diablo 4 will release by 2020 and predicts that it will sell 15 million units.

We are raising our 2019 and 2020 estimates on account of a robust multi year pipeline of games — Diablo, Overwatch 2, and a Blizzard mobile title — which we don’t think Street estimates are fully taking into account.

Also, this is not the first time we have reported on Blizzard working on Diablo 4. A job listing back in October suggested that the upcoming Diablo will feature an extensive multiplayer component.
