Russian Scientists Caught Cryptocurrency Mining In Nuclear Plant (Will Be Charged For Using Equipment For Mining)
Cryptocurrency mining has been a pain in all the gamers asses around the work and it seems that even people with access to expensive equipment are trying to make a quick buck by mining digital currency. Some Russian scientists were using nuclear facility equipment in order to mine digital currency.
The good news is that these people have been caught and that they will be charged for using official equipment for personal use. The people in question have been arrested and you can expect justice to be swift. The people in question have not been named but have been handed over to the Federal Security Service.
A representative from the Scientific Research Institute for Experimental Physics had the following to say:
“There has been an unsanctioned attempt to use computer facilities for private purposes including so-called mining.”
Cryptocurrency mining has been on the rise for some time now but with the fall of Bitcoin, it seems that the bubble is popping and we are already seeing people return their graphics cards in attempts to get some of their investment back. While it is too soon to come to a conclusion regarding whether or not the cryptocurrency mining bubble has burst or not we will find out for sure in a couple of days.
