According to Capcom, Monster Hunter World is the fastest selling Capcom game to date. Since its release in late January, the game has shipped over 6 million copies around the world. The title managed to reach this number without the PC version.
Monster Hunter World is available on PS4 and Xbox One for the time being. Meanwhile, the PC version is expected to release later this year. The PC community is overly excited about the game which means we can expect big sales numbers from its PC launch as well.
Capcom went on to say that while the PC version isn’t given a release date, we should expect it in the coming months.
Meanwhile, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, Capcom is looking to enhance the experience by adding more content. Monster Hunter World’s first DLC is called Deviljho. There aren’t any solid details available for the time being but we do know that Deviljho is going to be a tough fight.
Moreover, it was confirmed that the encounter will allow players to get their hands on the satisfying loot. And for those hunting rare items, there is a brand new quest in the works.
More details about Monster Hunter World DLC and when players can play it are going to be shared at a later date. Monster Hunter World is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can download the game from PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace.
On a related subject, a new update for Monster Hunter World is out now. The update comes with a number of fixes for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, mainly focusing on squads.
