Shadow of the Colossus Easter Eggs
Before we go on to the specific Easter Eggs, let us tell you some of the other interesting things that you can do. You can make your horse do tricks by pressing some specific buttons. For the detailed guide on how to make your horse do tricks, check out our Shadow of the Colossus Agro Tricks Guide.
Apart from this, you can travel by riding Argo too. To do that, you need a lot of stamina so either finish the game a couple of times or consume plenty of White Lizard Tails to do that.
You can also unlock the Time Attack mode if you beat all of the sixteen beasts. Lastly, you can reach the Secret Garden once you have finished the game by climbing up the ivy and wall. You will need a lot of stamina so make sure you have a lot of White Lizard Tails.
Now we will mention three different Easter Eggs that you can find within the game. We will mention Trico’s Treats, the ICO Beach and the Donkey Cave Art. We will also tell you where you can find these Easter Eggs so you do not keep on endlessly looking for them.
The first egg is known as Trico’s treats. Head South West from the main shrine to the sixth colossus. Enter the forest that you will find and then look to your right to find a path which leads to a few cliffs.
Towards the right of the path, you will find a slope which will enter a cave. Towards the end of the caves, you will find Trico’s Treats in the barrels with the blue butterflies around it.

The ICO Beach also has a secret for you to find. Go to 5B on the map and look for a path that goes down rather than the normal way. Follow the path and once you get to the shore, go to the end of the beach to find a large branch with a Watermelon. This is an interesting reference to the secret ending of ICO.
You can find some mysterious Donkey Art if you head past the Colossus in Quadrant 4B (going down) and enter a small tunnel to the south. Entering the tunnel, you will find rocks towards your right. Climb these rocks to find the drawing of the donkey. As of right now, no one knows why is it there.
