The unreleased Intel Coffee Lake Mobile i7 8850H has been leaked and it appears that the CPU has 6 cores and 12 threads. This chip will be coming out in the upcoming weeks alongside the upcoming Coffee Lake refresh. The increased number of cores and threads will benefit multitasking as well as applications that make use of numerous cores and threads.

The Intel Coffee Lake Mobile i7 8850H features a base clock of 2.6 GHz and is based on the 14nm++ process which should be more efficient as compared to the previous generation and the CPU also comes with 9MB of L3 cache.

While the leak does not give us all the information that we need there have been other leaks that have hinted that the CPU will be able to boost to 4.0 GHz on all cores and 4.3 GHz on a single core. This is pretty impressive for a mobile CPU. You can check out the numbers below:
