Bayonetta 2 Switch Gameplay Trailer Released, Running At 60 FPS

Nintendo has rolled out the Bayonetta 2 Switch gameplay trailer on its official Youtube channel and the game running at 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch looks better than ever.

The Bayonetta 2 Switch gameplay trailer exhibits few plot points from the game and the gameplay showcases Bayonetta in action against some enemies. All this running at 60 frame-rates per second. Although the cut-scenes apparently seem to be running at 30 FPS.

The upcoming game on Switch will be having some new and some returning features in the game. That includes amiibo support to unlock new costumes and weapons in the game, local multiplayer, and touch controls that will provide a simpler control scheme for the users who are less familiar with action games.

The storyline of the game centers around the Witch Bayonetta after she awakens from a slumber with insomnia. She uses shapeshifting and firearms to combat her enemies. Her abilities include magic abilities that enable her to summon demons. The Game series is known for its unconventional combat and tight controls.

The player has to use melee attacks or guns to combat angelic and demonic forces. Apart from that, you can equip various weapons like signature guns, swords, bow, axe and multiple other weapons if you can lay your hands on them.

A new element has also been included in the game. Umbran Climax is a form of Rage that Bayonetta has and can be activated once the magic gauge is full. This allows the character to boost her attacks, combos and allows her to summon the Infernal Demon for a short span.

Also, a rumor has been making rounds on the internet suggesting Bayonetta 3 will launch in Summer 2018.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch on February 16. You can purchase the physical copy as well as the e-copy of the game.
