Total War Saga Thrones of Britannia developer is not ruling out the possibility of a console version.
Communications Manager Al Bickham was asked whether the Total War series will ever reach Sony or Microsoft consols to which he had a positive reply. According to him, “never say never.”
The main problem was the previous consoles held them back with the memory allocations. Previous consoles had 256-Bit Ram which was not even a consideration but since most of the things have changed for the better in the newer generation of consoles it is now very much possible.
Project Lead, Jack Lusted of Thrones of Britannia mentioned that they already have Controller support for PC titles which speaks for itself that the company does have relevant plans.
Speaking of the changes in the upcoming game the developers said that a lot of character customization has been done compared to its predecessors. By earning the points you will now be able to focus your players on certain paths and much more.
One thing is for sure, the creative Assembly has its prime focus set on historical pieces. Bickham added that there are some very interesting periods that the company has its eyes set on but aren’t feasible for the Total War series.
Perhaps they may consider working on some more collaborations like Warhammer. Speaking of Warhammer, Warhammer 2 recently had a new expansion pack The Rise of the Tomb Kings which has brought new faction with four different Lords. These lords are very different from each other although they have the same background.
So, it would be really cool if Creative Assembly brings these epic games on Consoles. What are your thoughts on it?
