The surge in Cryptocurrency mining has left a shortage of GPUs in the market and PC enthusiasts and gamers are eager to get their hands on a new GPU especially a high-end one, and this is probably the reason why the affordable Newegg GTX 1080 Bundles sold out as quickly as they became available.

These seem like good bundles and makes sense why these went out of stock so quickly. It seems that the GPU shortage has made PC enthusiast desperate to grab GPUs and bundles as soon as they become available.
In related news, while there is an overall shortage of GPUs in the market but, AMD has assured that it will increase its GPU production. According to CEO, Lisa Su, it is hard to calculate but, the digital currency mining makes up almost 10% of the company’s annual revenue.
The GPU channel is lower than we would like it to be. So, we are ramping up production. At this point, we’re not limited by Silicon per se, so our foundry partners are supplying us.
